- 8. Disclosure of Personal Information
- When a customer requests disclosure of personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, we will confirm that the request is from the customer themselves and promptly disclose the information to the customer (if the personal information does not exist, we will notify the customer accordingly). However, this does not apply in cases where we are not obligated to disclose under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws.
- 9. Correction of Personal Information
- If a customer requests correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter “Correction, etc.”) of personal information on the grounds that the information is not accurate, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, we will confirm that the request is from the customer themselves, promptly conduct the necessary investigation within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and, based on the results, carry out Correction, etc. and notify the customer (if we decide not to carry out Correction, etc., we will notify the customer accordingly). However, this does not apply in cases where we are not obligated to carry out Correction, etc. under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws.
- 10. Suspension of Use of Personal Information
- If a customer requests suspension or erasure of use (hereinafter “Suspension of Use, etc.”) of their personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the announced purposes of use or that it was acquired through deception or other unlawful means, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, and if the request is found to be justified, we will confirm that the request is from the customer themselves, promptly implement Suspension of Use, etc., and notify the customer. However, this does not apply in cases where we are not obligated to implement Suspension of Use, etc. under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws.
